I was sure that it would not work so i tried my own combo first no go.

Followed yours and IT WORKS

I almost gave up on the hope of an update :)

Hi all,

Was just struggling with the same app connection failure on iOS4 as a number have mentioned.

The magic worked for me when:

I manually changed the port number in the settings (as mentioned) to a bogus port (eg. 11111)

went back to settings main page

went back to home screen

brought up the multi-tasking apps and killed settings

Started WMSMobile, gave it 30 seconds as it obviously is failing to connect..

Go Back to home screen

brought up the multi-tasking apps and killed WHSMobile

Go back to WHSMobile settings and changed port back to the usual 8169

Go back to main settings

Go home

brought up the multi-tasking apps and killed Settings

Ran WHSMobile and it worked...

Yes, this is likely overkill but this was the only combination that worked for me

Hope this helps some others use this great app! :)

First off... Top App.

Any plans for iOS4 support?

I've noticed I can no longer upload photos since I upgraded. (the wifes phone still works fine).

Anyone else having this problem?

Problem solved !!!!!

- Go to your whs mobile settings on your iphone and change the port to 11111 (or somthing else).

- go back to main screen.

- again to the settings WHS mobile and retype the standar port 8169

- for the 3gs with OS4 restart WHSmobile if running in background.

Now the program work.

I am having the same problems as brup. I verified I have access from the iPhone but the client won't connect. Look forward to a client update.

Please either respond or provide support or simply issue me a refund for this app that does nothing useful. Regardless what you decide to do for me. Learn to focus on one task and do it right to get somewhere grasshopper ;)
