TV Manager v1.5 Is Almost Here

I know its taking quite a while for me to let go of version 1.5 of TV Manager. However, the longer its in my grasp, the more features, and bug free it shall be.

This to let you all know that TV Manager is not dead (neither am I), and that it is still under development. Power Pack 2 may have killed the need for TV Manager, but the urge will come back stronger than ever before.

Users may be wondering what TV Manager will do when Windows Home Server v2 comes out. Will it die out? Will it spawn something new? Don’t worry, TV Manager will still be around. Enhancing your TV Viewing/Browsing experience behind the scenes on the Home Server. I don’t want to spill the beans, but there will be two TV Manager editions when Windows Home Server v2 comes out. Each specifically built for your version of Home Server. You’ll get the special treatment you really deserve. What features will it have, you ask. Well, I can’t disclose that kind of information. However, the feature list is still being planned out.

Why will people need TV Manager? Its the same reason people need Media Center plug-ins. The users always need and deserve more then they receive.

For those curious about a release date, TV Manager v2.0 will (hopefully) release a month or so before Windows Home Server v2.

Thanks for letting the public know that you're still working on it. I'm using 1.0 at the time and while it is generally enjoying, there are some flaws with it. Half of the time it doesn't 'see' the recorded tv on the WHS. But I can't complain, cause the other half it works great! Looking forward to further updates. Thank you for al your time.

Hans,

No problem.Sorry that development is slow. I work on it in my free tim and I've been really busy lately.

I'm might release a public beta of TV Manager 1.5 before going onto releasing the final build. This way I can get more people testing which gives more chances to find bugs. It will also show that TV Manager is still being worked on and is not dead.

Please don't be sorry. I cannot claim any of your spare time, I'm allready happy with the fact you did.

I'd like to test it for you when the time comes.
