I did notice a bug in this release. If you attempt to block and Ip when you have the Logs file open it will crash the console.

Do you mean the Log View or the actual file the Log View gets its data from? It should just block the IP on the selected line. It may be crashing because you don't have a line selected. If you got get the WHS Log that holds the error message, that would be great.

I did notice that the issue only occured when an Ip was not selected from the list. Possible bug? Also today when I went to review the log it did crash the console, I was accessing the console remotely through a desktop connected to the network.

Could the possible cause be some what the same issue the add in event veiwer was having? It seems that when you exceed 500 entries it is not displayed, and causes the console to freeze.

The fix for event veiwer was to limit the amount of entries displayed.

After throughly looking for the crash in the event logs, I was unsucessful. I have added my email address to this post if you want to contact me that way.

I futher reviewed the IIS logs, I didn't find any additional information there. If you want I would be happy to forward these logs to you from the days I experianced the crashes.

It may freeze up when looping through the logs if it has a lot of data to go through. It shouldn't crash it though. I'll look into this when I have more things to add for the next release. I don't think the IIS logs are needed, thank you though. If I have anymore questions, I'll send you an email.

hello,

installed and default is started. added new site with 2 users (admin and myself) full access. i then added new user with no access in user list, went back to FTP mang. and added user for full access. tried starting FTP and then i get blue screen in cons. and then a forced log off save settings. there is a backup going on right now on one PC.

only the on 500g drive that came with it. made site under D:FTP

error log show a .net 2.0 run time error 5000

quick clarf. when i say start FTP i mean the 2nd site i created. FTP service has been installed and started.
